Returns what is trending on Google now.

Request

This method has no required parameters.

Response

If successful, the response body contains the standard envelope. data.results[] contains what is trending, each with its search volume and start time. The following example is a real response, truncated: each list shows one item and long strings are cut.

Optional parameters

Billing

Each successful request consumes 1 credit, regardless of the number of items returned. Requests that fail, or that return no items, are not billed.

Pagination

This method is not paginated. A single request returns the complete result.
  • Google Search: Accepts a trend’s query. Searches Google and returns results, the AI Overview, the knowledge panel and related questions.
  • Google News: Accepts a trend’s query. Searches Google News by keyword, date, site and country, or returns headlines by topic.
  • Google Trends interest over time: Accepts a trend’s query as queries. Returns Google Trends search interest over time, newest first, with one value per query.
