# Introduction

> The web access layer for AI agents. One interface between your agent and the web's major platforms.

Stophy is the web access layer for AI agents: one interface between your agent and the web's major platforms.

The API exposes search, video, social, maps, commerce, jobs, real estate, apps and ads as endpoints. Each endpoint has a fixed request schema, a fixed price and the same response envelope. Most requests consume 1 credit, some consume 2, and long lists consume 1 credit per 10 results.

## Three ways in

## Make your first request

Google search works without a key, so you can run this as it is:

```bash theme={null}
curl -X POST https://api.stophy.dev/v1/google/search \
  -H "content-type: application/json" \
  -d '{"query":"bun runtime"}'
```

```json theme={null}
{
  "success": true,
  "data": {
    "results": [
      {
        "url": "https://bun.com/",
        "title": "Bun — A fast all-in-one JavaScript runtime",
        "description": "Bun is a fast JavaScript runtime & toolkit. All in one.",
        "position": 1
      }
    ]
  },
  "creditsUsed": 0,
  "requestId": "44eea069-e571-4dd8-95b4-cd56e641701a"
}
```

See [what you can get](/sources/web) for the full list, or follow the [quickstart](/quickstart) to get a key and call the rest.
